Recent reports in Brazil claim that talks has started between Santos/Neymar's father and representatives of FCB (Raúl Sanllehí).

Neymar's father even told journalists earlier today that if Santos permit him to discuss with FCB they would do it.

Apart from that rumour Neymar himself recently told that he would not move in January. So no move until next summer at the earliest.

According to the persistent rumours FCB are trying to land him in January 2013.

HE'S ONLY 19 YEARS OLD. He has amazing finishing ability with BOTH FEET and he's only 19, not to mention his vision/passing is miles above average for his age as well. If he flops it'll be nothing but a tragedy.

There is absolutely no need in signing Neymar. Unproven in Europe, over-priced and probably won't get into the first team unless there are injuries. We have Sanchez, we don't need Neymar. He is a Madrid signing or even a Chelsea/Man City signing, he is not a Barca player, no matter how good he is, he just isn't going to add something to the squad we don't already have. We have enough pairs of quality shoes in the closet, we don't need another pair.

He would be an excellent long-term signing. Sometimes, you have to take an educated gamble. This kid has everything in his locker and you would hope being at a club like Barca, he will be guided in the right direction. I really believe Barca has become his number 1 choice as well, he seems really complimentary about us
