Remember peepz saying it would be tough cause Real wouldn’t drop points against minnows.

Still, that would not make me optimistic yet, given the schedule ahead:

We have to play Atletico H, and 3 very tough away ones until early January: Betis A, Villareal A, Espanyol A

During the same period Madrid has only one difficult, the next one at Bilbao A and then piss easy games until late January

I don’t see Real drop points against Bilbao honestly.

Bilbao has enough of that eagerness to go forward but not be strong enough, for Real to play comfortably against them.

It’s sides that think that have to play very defensively that get Real out of rhythm and frustrated. And if not the team has to match Real in strength somewhat.

Don't start celebrating too quickly, it could all flip again in a week.

All very close at the top.

We could be even looking at Villarreal at number 1, if the right result happen

We need the key players to make the difference in the harder games. Pedri, Raphinha, Yamal, Lewandowski. We can build a run in this league even while not playing great if the players show up.

Just because we aren't at the level compared to the best sides in Europe doesn't mean we can't beat likes of Betis and Villareal.

We do that and Madrid can crumble like they did last season. AM match is very important. We lose it and we're in big trouble. We win it, and we can turn the page and build a gap.

Can all swing so easily this week.

Win and Real drop points and it looks rosy.

Drop points and Real win they are top having played 9 of first 15 games away from home and been to Ateti, Athletic etc.

Flick on what went down during this moment with Rapha:

"It's a curious scene from this game. I was disappointed because we lost possession so often, two members of the staff on the bench received red cards… when we scored the third goal, Marcus saw red, and I had spoken to him – he's my friend, the most important person here – and that conversation kept going through my mind. I wanted to clear my head; I didn't want to argue."

"I'm doing well, and I'm ready for anything the club asks of me. I'm very happy to be here. In a game like this, things can go wrong. These kinds of games are tough; you invest a lot of energy. But then I get home and relax. I wasn't sad, and I didn't think about anything else. We're not as strong as last year yet, but we have potential and we're working on raising our level."

So he was more frustrated about the argument with Sorg and the red cards.

There is absolutely no way he was that upset or being consoled due to coaches being red carded.

Cover story as doesnt want to go into it with the media.
