Xavi was offering excuses himself, Flick doesn't
It's a big difference
It is a fact that Xavi had a shit squad and it had no business competing with top teams, but saying that himself was sack worthy
Similarily if Flick now said "both of my strikers are morons, my defense is full of idiots, players are dropping like flies and I won't get a single player in transfer window" he wouldn't be lying at all. But it would be wrong
Obviously, Xavi's whining was as annoying as Flick's apologists
who is justifying Xavi's whining? he was rightfully sacked. All I'm pointing out is the hypocrisy from some fans.
Go back few pages on this thread or the multiple player threads. I cant be bothered to. Not trying to convince you or anyone. What hypocrisy?
Most people said that Xavi should have had the team play better football, but at the same time we needed better players. It's just the public outbursts that was a terrible look. He made it sound like he was managing Valencia at times with his comments.
Need to keep that in-house.
The issue is the same as always. Lack of FFP room, money to spend on transfers and the wrong transfers being made.
Both Bernal and Casado had a poor performance yesterday, and Olmo is still not delivering his best. Those two aren't making us win that game much more If any at all more comfortably than we did yesterday, especially in the 2nd half.
He's just looking for an excuse if that's what he said.
Both Bernal and Casado had a poor performance yesterday, and Olmo is still not delivering at his best.
Why would a well playing midfield not make the win more comfortable? Fewer turnovers, and more control = less transitions for the defence to deal with?
More possesion, and better more creative players = a better setup for our attackers to score goals?
Isn't exactly rocket science
If Flick goes to PL and tries this BS he will be sacked within half a season
He will get ANGE treatment
