The team playing like this has only one chance to win the title. Produce a 3 goals per game ratio and absorb the chances the opponents create, which are rather clear.

Pass faster, produce more workrate, and simply outwork these teams in chances, using player quality to make a difference with an increase in entertainment factor.

And even then, if you have too many games where you relax and you lose points due to defensive fuck-ups like vs Mallorca, you could still lose.

Not gonna lie, if we pull it off, it's gonna be like last year Napoli in Serie A, except in a superior league against superior rivals.

I'm not sure why you think it is that different to last year. Our defense was still Ter Stegen.

This year Stegen is good, but not the otherwordly beastly level he was, so we concede more.

8 meaning AM and not CM? Even then, heck no.
My argument is simple - Fermin constantly moves the ball forward.
That is, there is much less sterility in his actions.

The quality of his passes is not worse than Pedri, he is faster than Pedri, his shot is better than Pedri, his dribbling is better than Pedri.

What do you disagree about?

That's simply false.

All players in defense apart from Kounde are playing under their level last season. Balde with the biggest drop. But also Araujo, and Cancelo who is, let's face it, complete shit in defense.

You have a lot more factors in the team that are contributing to a decline in defensive ability everywhere on park.

Also, from Busquets to Romeu, the drop at defensive DM is huge as well.

Nah team not going to win anything you have already told us.

Xavi is easily fooled and suffering from delusion according to you.

There's no argument when you use your eyes. Night and day difference in talent.

Fermin will be a nice squad player though (by the looks of it). But I will be damned if he seriously competes with Gavi or Pedri for a midfield starting spot.
