Leigh Bromby (Leeds United): "If a club like Barca are looking at Elliot Kebbie, then it shows he must have the potential to go a long way. From what I've seen, Elliot looks a real prospect. He's lightning quick like Walcott but has other things in his locker too" [mail]

so he is probably Bale-esque player, but I believe we wont sign him as Grimaldo is too talented and too good LB

Barcelona have signed 10 year old Japanese youngster Kubo Takefusa who has been on trial at the club since April.
Japanese Kubo is a forward with great dribbling ability. People who have seen him on trial tell me he's sick!

now, thats a deal!

Fourteen

Monster Masch
What a little show-off.

Thanks for the info btw, Khaled and Yogi. I hope these kids know how lucky they are, it must be an awesome feeling to be signed by Barca as a youngster.

18 year old from Racing Santander Miguel Ángel Saiz Maza signed. Seems like a good player, will be on the B team.
Don't know if Barça need him, as it creates overbooking in the midfield

-Cadet B left winger Mohamed el Ouriachi 'Moha' is likely to remain at Barca despite Real Madrid offering twice the wages. - It seems that Etock (18, CF, Barca U-19) signed for chelsea a 4 year contract, Etock was a very promising talent, he came to Barca through Eto'o's foundation in the Cameroon when he was 12 years old! ( first player to come from cameroon foundation, which was created in 2006)...
Etock spent last season on the bench for Barca U-19 "team which won the Treble this season" becuz of Dongou (16, CF, Cameroon)!!
`Note: Etock who plays for Cameroon U-20, will spend next season on loan @ Sporting Lisbon (Portugal)!!
It will be a good move for Etock. With Dongou(16,CF,Barca U-19) around he would'nt have had much chance. Etock kind of stalled over the last season. Especially with the emergence of Dongou he didn't see a lot of minutes.

Gd Luck :)

- Other players who were released/left Barca: Carlos Castarnardo, Jesus Unzué, Jordi Masó!

- Cameroon youngsters Aboubacar Camara, Yanick Adamou, Nelson Mandela have been releasd from the club. Reason-Controversial, so won't explain.

-----------------------------

Other Players who left Barca this season:

- Icardi (18, CF) from Juvenil A to Sampdoria!
- Ceballos (19, CAM) from Juvenil A to Tottenham!
- Gai Assulin (20, Winger) freeagent (Juvenil A) to Man City!
- Rochina (20, CF) from Barca "B" to Blackburn! (still has a buyback option)!
- Alex (20, GK) from Juvenil A to Zaragoza! (still has a buyback option), Alex will play for Spain U-20 this summer in WC U-20, he was Spain U-19 starter Gk last season!

etc..

thx to Youngcules on twitter for the info :)

A Korean teenager has signed a five-year contract with FC Barcelona’s youth team, his father revealed Wednesday.

Baek Seung-ho aka Park Sheng Ho, 14, who joined the Spanish club 16 months ago, made an agreement with the team to extend his stay at its youth academy, said his father Paik Il-yeong, a physical education professor at Yonsei University.

Barcelona is known as an incubator of talent, promoting a succession of graduates to its first team. Seven players who started for Barcelona in its UEFA Champions League final win in May came through the club’s youth ranks.

The length of the contract reflects Barcelona’s high estimation of Baek’s potential, said Jeong In-seong, 24, the foreign business manager of Korea EMG.

“At the youth level, a one-year contract is standard,” said Jeong, who played for Barcelona’s under-16 squad. “The five-year contract shows that Barcelona has plans to develop Baek into a player for its first team.”

Baek started playing football at age six and began receiving national attention in fourth grade as Daedong Elementary School’s starting forward. In 2009, pundits started calling him a prodigy. In a weekend league, Baek - then in sixth grade - scored 30 goals in 18 games to become the league’s top scorer. He scored 10 goals in six matches and was named MVP in the Gyeongju Hwaranggi youth competition.

Baek caught Barcelona’s eye that December when he starred in an under-14 tournament between Korea and Cataluna.

In January 2010, Baek was awarded the 22nd annual Cha Bum-kun football award. Barcelona signed him the following month.

At the youth academy, famous for graduating diminutive players, such as Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi and Xavi Hernandez, the 5-foot-2 Baek has shone while donning the symbolic number 10 jersey for the under-13 side.

As he returned to Korea on Saturday for a break, Baek expressed his hope to be compared with Barcelona’s most famous youth product.

“I will work hard so I can be known as the ‘Korean Messi’ in Barcelona,” he said.
