Of ourse you did as you think Real are miles ahead of Barca and argue that near enough every time as to have excuses if Barca dont win.

Same in Europe.

Barca were close to Real last season. Was never a huge gap as you made out and also Barca were never worse than Atletico etc either.

Since you are very much pro-Xavi (not a dig at you), how would you feel if we exit the CL group stages again next season? Is that end of the road for him or is winning La Liga enough? I ask because I realize winning the league is better than qualifying from the group stages just to exit in the round of 16 but we need to see improvements in Europe.

Europa league 3 seasons in a row is embarrassing for a club like Barca and nobody is going to convince me the calibre of players we have shouldn't be playing CL football.

I would say Xavi has done an okay job this season. I'm disappointed in the style (or lack thereof) and entertainment in most of our matches but a league win is a league win.

Another group exit is unacceptable, especially if we finish 1st in Liga.

If we draw Bayern/City then at least we should be able to come second. We looked very good against Bayern away in the first half, just need to be more composed and take the few chances we create. So over two games against them we need at least 1-3 points, the latter if we want to be seen as a serious threat.

Also there isn't a team in pot 3/4 that should beat us over two games. Not now. Have a feeling we're going to look a lot more mature next season in Europe, and not these mental midgets where playing in CL looks like a totally different sport.
