nesta at his best own succeed in any team in the world, he has the two most important things true class defenders need to have and he has it in abundance.

Reading of the game and positioning, also has the ability to play the ball out of the defense.

Funny that, but TS is like twice faster than Pique and his reading game ability is great too. But since he is injury prone it is hard for him to gain world's best defender name

I do not think Silva is twice as fast as Pique, not at all. He may be slightly quicker but i don't think its noticeable.

Agger is not better than Vermaelen

Vidić and Pique hard to separate them, still Vidic's goal scoring ability makes him a better player. Pique for obvious reasons are the best when considering his age and his build ups are also unmatchable .
