Take a look at this list and tell me if anyone placed after him at No.4 here is a clearly better LW than him.

He will cook here. Him and Flick are a natural fit.

Quality of the players really fell down. There are 7 players better than him on that list. Also, Lookman not there and we know he would fit in as secondary forward (like Raphinha). No Mbappe either and we know that's his best position. So left winger is not necessarily only option as our left flank is occupied by offensive minded Balde.

Would say Nico would barely make top 10 of best players for that position.

People don't understand that having him, Raphinha, and Lamine means we have top quality starting wingers in case of injuries.

We rode our luck big time with Raphinha and Lamine last season....an injury to one of them and we would have ended up without the league and CDR.

Yeah, exaclty, if you look like all top teams, they all have 5 top players for the 3 top spots. Lewa, Ferran, Raph, Yamal and Nico is top class line-up for next season. You even have options in case Lewa's form dips.

It's not enough. Some delusional players will have a high opinion of themselves. These players should get the messagge that there is no restart for them. Their ride with the club is over, with no hopes of jumping back on the train.

To move these players, you have to get your hands dirty. Players like Stegen for example need to be forced out the hard way if you bank on that to register Williams. Not going to be pretty...

Trying to sign Nico Williams on a big money deal changes the script and forces the club to act far more aggressively to push players out. Don't think this type of deal was in the plans. More like we sign a low cost LW that is far easier to register.

Knowing Laporta we'll see a campagin to get MATS and possibly Araujo out of the club later in this summer. If it will be successful or not is another question.

I agree with it btw. No place for sentimentality if you are really serious about your aim to be among the elite again. The players in question had their chance for many years and failed to convince the club. Had they done what likes of Raphinha did, they'd be untouchable today.

Ter Statue is one of the main reasons we have not win CL 10 years, and has been fraud in many crucial games.
