If we look from their point of view of course they don't want to sell a player to a rival team in the league and would prefer if Nico went to Bayern for example. And also is understandable they want the whole release fee in one piece. Pay the clause and Nico is yours.. I know it makes it difficult for Barca but Bilbao is football club and this is bussiness not charity, I'm sure Barca would do the same in their position so I don't really blame them.. But I have faith in Deco and Laporta, Nico will be Barca player in July.
It’s not a sale, it’s a release clause…Bilbao has nothing to say about it

They are always over dramatic whenever someone comes in for their players.

We get it, you only use "local" players, but no one forced you to do that.

Frankly that 1:1 FFP move is retarded. Bilbao will get the money one way or another. How Barca handle their finances is none of Bilbao's business.

If this appeal goes through it also creates a legal ground to hand back Joan Garcia to Espanyol. I'm sure Espanistas will love him once again.

What is Bilbao even trying to do

Say you cancel his transfer, and he stays. It would be fucking awkward

Fans already label him as a snake, he'd get booed every game

Then even if he joins Bayern (who might get other lw by then), you achieved nothing
