If Milan get back to being one of the best clubs itw consistently, they'll definitely be in the conversation.

Another problem is that Juve have twice as many domestic championships as Milan. Milan aren't even the kings of Italy.

Madrid

Debate between Barca and Bayern

Liverpool

Barca are ahead of us because of their insane success in the last 20 years which means a lot in these conversations.

Before 2006 Barca had only 1 CL/European Cup.

If we win our next CL before Barca and Bayern, our fans will have every right to claim that we're the biggest after Madrid. Objectively speaking, it'll be a serious debate then.

This is not university-level degree, but even graduating from uni you have to prove your worth in the market first, where everyone is measured eventually.

Ideally, in order to get a big decisive role at Barca, one must prove their credentials and ability at a smaller club as a Sporting Director or Head of Recruitment.

If you're a brilliant SD or HOR at a Brighton or a Lille, then you should get an opportunity at a giant club like Barca.

Edwards proved he's a genius at Portsmouth and Tottenham and then got the big opportunity. Hughes proved himself at Bournemouth.

I have answered this so many times:

Font's biggest mistake in his 1st campaign was everything he did with Xavi.
Evidently, Xavi as SD made 0 sense, and in reality it was:
1) repaying him a favor for helping his project by promising him a core position
2) a smokescreen for making XAvi the coach eventually, which was the position he wanted.

Thankfully for everyone, we saw how good Xavi is as a coach, and this won't happen again. Font's last statements after press question on Xavi attest to the fac that Font does not include him now within the potential structure. How can he, after the backstabbing anyway?

PS: As for Nadal, I have a different view. If the position concerns skills or expertise that can be applied across sports, then that's not a problem
