Details, hours, breakings. A lot of journos just waiting for it to be announced at this point.

Breaking: Joan García has given the definitive YES to Barcelona after a final meeting with his agents. Barça will trigger his €25m release clause and the goalkeeper will sign for five years, until 2030. There will be maximum guarantees regarding his registration in his contract. @martinezferran @RogerTorello

Joan García and Barça, matter of short time to complete the deal as it’s all set between the goalkeeper and the club. Five year deal being prepared… then Barça will trigger €25m release clause. Here we go, soon. @fabrizioromano

I thought Ter Stegen said we only have 2 keepers for next season!

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Maybe he is right... but he meant Garcia and Szczesny.

Technically he was right and still is, we only have him and Inaki under contract right now for next season.

Reports are for this to enter 1:1 right now we need a little more margin. Alex Valle sale, Ansu to Monaco finalised and potentially the Todibo move to West Ham.

If not it will be under next years calculations, or if other moves like Trincao somehow happen before the WCC.

There's also the potential Guille sale to Porto, which the mainstream Catalan media have not covered yet, nor have they mentioned his name in regards to being part of Flick's pre-season. So his name is under embargo- for whatever reason.

So Barca had revenues of 950m last season and swept up all the trophies and they need to sell 3 players in order to register a 25m goalkeeper?

Meanwhile, Madrid can buy Huijsen, Stiller, Carreas and throw huge wages and signing on fee at Trent, whilst having a higher wage bill than us?

Nonsense stuff. If a team that were statistically the most watched team in Europe and swept up all the domestic trophies can't spend a measly 25m, then you may as well put a fork in football.
