This photo is huge. Jesse Owens wins a gold medal in Berlin, 1936, where Hitler tried to use the Olympics to show the Aryan superiority over the world. It is also interesting because Jesse is photographed with his addidas shoes, given by Adi DAsler himself, the founder of Addidas. In fact Jesse James is the first athlete to promote any sports articles for sponsorship.

Aloisi scoring the winning penalty against Uruguay to get us into our first World Cup for 32 years!

His celebration for the winning kick! It's probably more iconic than the actual kick itself really!

LOL!

Once again, a worn torn country who can't play any home games or even train properly becuase of the possibility of being shot, winning the Aasian cup with the likes of Japan and Australia in it.

Wilikinson drop goal being an iconic moment....Classic.
Didn't we have an argument on the other fourm about me not liking England/Britain becuase they invaded my country? Not much of an Iraq fan are we? Get of your high horse and think of the accomplishment it really is.

You don't like the country you live in?
