European Super League

What can happen in following weeks is a massive players/coaches strike in ESL clubs.

Klopp has already stated again today that he still doesn't like the idea of ESL. That combined with the international bannings... There is high potential for strikes in those 4 clubs. He also stated that this decision was made by the board only. "The boys did nothing wrong apart from not winning all games."

Neither Klopp nor Pool players knew nothing about that until this morning.

Should be interesting...

Clubs have every right to create competitions. Super League is legal project.

Champions League has nothing to do with champions nor is it charitable towards smaller countries.

It's basically a corrupt bastard pretending to be virtuous screaming at a selfish bastard. Much like what you see in MSM really. It's a disease.

I wonder what the spending limits for the ESL will be like, since it will not be subject to the FFP or whatever the next incarnation of FFP is. Obviously we can't compete with the like of City and PSG (if they join) etc., not even FSG's Liverpool or the Glazers' Manchester United if clubs are allowed to put all it and spend as much as they would like to.

Let's hope the ESL will not become like Bundesliga with City winning the ESL trophy every year and the other 11 clubs vying for the 2nd spot. :coffee:

Salary caps and drafts are usually the system used in America for this type of stuff. I imagine it will be something similar to this league for longevity. No more 250M Neymar transfer numbers and can't be paying players like Messi 400M a season.

Noone says its illegal. But at the same time how is it illegal for the FIFA to exclude them from THEIR legal project?

Champions League has nothing to do with champions nor is it charitable towards smaller countries.

And even less so the Super League.

It's basically a corrupt bastard pretending to be virtuous screaming at a selfish bastard. Much like what you see in MSM really. It's a disease.

And even more so the Super League honestly.

Have any of our players spoken out against it so far? Lets see how many have balls and how many are spineless greedy slaves to the money.

Still laughing over the fact Arsenal and Tottenham think they belong in a Super League every season.

Before anyone says the Super League money means they will be build stronger teams, they've already spent more than most teams in recent years and they're still fucking hopeless.

There is no way UEFA will cancel the rest of the CL and EL games, they will be sued by the rights holders and media companies etc. and lose hundreds and millions of euros.

Would they need to cancel them? Surely they could just advance Porto and Dortmund and then give the other place to Bayern.

In fact, the humble club of Barcelona might be the only one in this ESL that doesn't have a billionaire or even a centimillionaire owner or President.
