The release clauses should be much higher for these youngsters. Even if he turns out to be slightly worse than Moriba, that's still good enough for most teams in the top leagues.

Have a feeling he will be solid in a few years time.

That's the issue. We are well covered in his position, so most likely he wouldn't have been able to play a lot for us, but we could have sold him for a higher fee, inserted a buyback, loaned him out, fuck up on this one from our side.

In before this traitor goes to PSG, they tie him up with a long contract, and then is loaned. That would be the most hilarious thing.

If you care about the club that developed you, and you're unhappy you don't play enough, the respectable thing you do is ask for a loan. This kid deserves the most plastic club around, PSG.

Now seriously, some that are foaming at the mouth in here are grown ass men. What's up with getting mad over a kid leaving the club? Is this guy Messi 2.0 or something?
Did the guy owe you money? Don't worry, Fat Fuck Laporta will get a sponsorship from Iran or something. We're covered.

You never know if he is gonna turn up good or not. Whoever says he does is lying. Reaction from Flick makes me think he rated Dro highly.

And some people were claiming Lucho would walk to Barcelona to become our manager again.

Instead he's poaching talents from us directly

Just like Pep eh?

Whether he becomes the next Guiu, Simons, Olmo, Eric, Iliax, etc. is irrelevant, he has turned down continuity at Barça despite being counted on yet whether that is down to impatience or money, is the real issue

If it is impatience, this often plays out similarly - regardless of career trajectory, ultimately there’s never really been remorse in historical cases. As this has happened before and will happen again - no two players/people are wired the same, irrespective of club ethos & how they ingrain this mentality in the cantera kids the impatient ones will do what they do

If it is money, this has thus far played out similarly but it is also an increasingly large segment of modern football. Kids younger and younger are being splashed cash in an economy where the time may be now. I think as a club it has to plan for this segment (state backed & billionaire backed English clubs) to disrupt the development of youth players at La Masia. Big reason I am thrilled Tunkara agreed recently to his 1st pro contract. And the Masia culture will increasingly come under more & more financial duress to sustain itself in the era of silly money

The good is if it is indeed the Qatari club he goes to learn from Lucho who will no doubt make great use of him. I think he is definitely an interior like a Pedri mold but has great goalscoring instincts in his locker too. I wish him no ill will, we get the best we could get from him for his age despite being valued & trusted for the future and he went for the bag - everyone has their own story, I don’t begrudge him for it and I certainly do not wish for his career to stall or fail. I hope it works out for him but definitely a disappointment to not see what could’ve been here

He has two of the best CMs in the World ahead of him and neither of them are even in their late 20s.

I'm sure he is going to play a lot and develop nicely until Lucho leaves in a year or two.

I would not call this poaching however - poaching has traditionally been about throwing money at kids on youth contracts before their 1st pro one. That was not the case with Dro, he had a pro one but the minimum for his age - the vulnerable clause

It's a market opportunity with an incredibly cheap 6M clause, that is being paid - not poaching, everything was legitimate

If he doesn't want to be here, he should fuck off. Don't see a problem with it. There's clear difference between masia kids that bleed blaugrana like Fermin and randoms nigs like Moriba. Let them be free.

Fuck PSG, fuck Enrique and fuck this traitor rat - why aren't we poaching their talents??? If he went to for example Dortmund I would understand and support the kid, but PSG and for 6M??? Man, get fucked - hope he fails miserably, he can fuck off!
We should insert a new clause in ALL of our contracts - release clause can't be activated by the players themselves and not by that dirty fucking club PSG, Bayern, Chelsea or City.
