Lasr year Real has betted everything on Mbappe , probably with the idea that they can rebuild rest of the squad sooner. I just don't see Alonso accepting such situation now. Mbappe was their 2013 Neymar signing, they now need our 2014 mercato.

They have been good at exploiting free agents but clubs now are refusing to play along, they have already lost on Yoro, Davies and even Kimmich and Salah whom reportedly Real was going after if their negotiations ended with their clubs.

I usually respect your sporting takes, but Araujo is not really any good. He can have a good day here and there, otherwise everything lets him down... his passing, positioning, awareness, reading of the game and sensing when danger can come from, tackles etc and so on - headless chicken kind of situation. The most pressing thing about Araujo is that he often can't even give an alright 10m pass on the ground, let alone a cross - that's fucking shocking for a professional player at Barca - that's shocking even for Segunda level.
