Just hope it's all been done right thoughPretty crazy if you ask me, the progress is huge. I don't care what stupid deadlines Laporta gave for whatever reasons, on construction level, a lot has been done in a short amount of time.
It's been confirmed that there will be a total of 7 access points for the staged re-opening for fan access into Camp Nou
The challenge now is to ensure safety with ongoing construction and fan access. Bridge will be implemented on the lateral side of stadium as one access, near Gol Nord. Temporary barriers to separate construction zones from transit zones have been ordered along with a cleanup phase in parallel by Limak to prepare by August 1st
Due to differences with seats in certain sections, total capacity is expected to be 103,200
That's only the plan. Ultimately the city Barcelona will decide it, when they'll allow people back in after checking all safety regulations. And that will depend on Limak how much they'll progress over the summer and make the stadium safe and accessible.Tebas: "Barcelona will play their first La Liga match back at the Spotify Camp Nou around September 20th."
Don Camp Nou - the best signing of our transfer window.
So this will make the new Old Trafford bigger.
Disaster to lose that flex over Europe since forever.
Even if they make it bigger by 2-3k seats, and somehow build it in reality not only on photoshop, the new Old Trafford is just another new stadium with an oriental design to match their immigration problems. This is still the same old Camp Nou. Qataris will flex and build an 150k seater somewhere near Paris in 10 years or so for PSG.
PSG new stadium is projected to be 90k.
Barca have been synomimous with having Europes biggest footballing stadium. We should keep it up at all costs.
