The interiors are starting to look incredible in the newest Ferran Barniol video. The ample space of those corridors is impressive.

Things are happening but I would like to see something other than a steel structure in the outer ring for once to feel that it's truly getting closer.

It's not the priority right now anyways. But to open the stadium to the public as fast as possible. Meaning to finish the interior and outside access.

If you look closer they already laid the foundation for 10 blocks on the ground floor of third tier. Above the what I assume to be the VIP boxes. I don't expect this work to finish anytime soon, but keep in mind the second tier work was done during the winter months and now summer is ahead.

Slim chance the stadium is ready for new season imo. Another full season on Montjuic in the Champions League awaits us since UEFA doesn't allow changing of stadiums during the season :(

What's with the rule? It sounds absurd. I could understand if someone who change the stadium all the time but Barca built previous what sixty years ago?? They should change it.

The rule says the venue where you play in the first CL game has to be the same venue you finish the season on. So if the stadium is not ready in september for partial opening, there is no chance we switch from Montjuic to Camp Nou later on. So, it's either ready in September, or for CL purposes, it's 2026-2027 season for come back to Camp Nou, not the 2025-26 one.

It is very important for Limak to get the stadium partially reopened by September. If they miss this deadline... it's bad.

Very interesting video from Ferran together with Julia Bretos, who has insider informations about the construction and delivers some interesting numbers. You can watch this video with subtitles.

In short, around 75% of the steel-structure is finished. In total it's gonna be 20.000 tons. He predicts 100% by August 10th. 55k seats were alredy placed, around 5k remaining. The stadium could open up at Gamper at a lower capacity like 10-20k viewers to test it. He also says the club started to disassemble some services like VIP, bars etc. at the Montjuic, so they expect not to return there. More information in the video.
