MATS has chronic troubles for years, they knew he was done, a couple meaningless matches don't change anything.

I agree signing Joan was probably the best thing Deco ever did but he didn't fix it. If he gets rid of MATS then we can say he at least fixed one position in the team. He's got a perfect opportunity in a couple of weeks but we all know he's not capable of it.

Just checked highlights. He is good. Best attribute is that he actually looks up while dribbling and knows exactly what is going on around him. One to keep an eye on.

Won't go too much into the rest of your post. This is real life, not FM. We are struggling to even sign/register free agents and loanees, we won't do a complete squad overhaul anytime soon. Even less so when most of the players recently just signed new longterm contracts which Deco said was club's priority while clearly being aware there are still some holes in the team. But addresing these needs will take 2-3 (or more likely 3-4) years, it won't be all done in one summer.

Those players leaving doesn't free doesn't count on 'freed up' space for next season as they don't have contracts then.

Only if Barca as a result we're within salary limit and then leaving freed up space compared to this season.

When club/league are looking at FFP for next season it already takes into account those two not being there.

But with the salary amount Lewa had, as well as Christensen, I am hoping we will be well under FFP next season.

Give him an ultimatum to leave in January for good or he won't see the pitch (and WC) until the end of his contract. If MATS still says no then I agree he can't do anything.

I understand players preferring Madrid in general, but they literally just signed Hujsen in his position. I understand Xabi ideal gameplan has 3 atb, but is Alonso surviving this season?
