Let’s see if the German connection facilitates it because like you, I see it complicated to get BVB to agree to a winter deal…even if BM are going to win the league and club will lose player anyway

Some nice opportunities actually. Not looking at the usual ones, as a lot of teams might be in for them. For me these are:
If Olmo keeps being his usual self, I would honestly want to look at Brandt. Somehow ship out Olmo. At this point Olmo is a detriment than a help to the team.

The Everton LB could be a cheap backup option. Vitaliy Mykolenko. Needs some Ukrainian chutzpah in this team. Cyka Blyat, Idi Nahui Pidaras.

Heck would even look at Goretzka if there is some interest on Casado. We need some height in the midfield.

Would take a punt on Vlahovic, but heard he has high wage demands. If so, then probably no.

Problem with free agents is we can't guarantee anyone he will get registered in May/June and players won't wait until end of August, lol. So most of them will be gone before we'll be in a position to maybe sign someone.
