I wish. United could use Ter Stegen as well.
We are now. The reality is we have to make money off sales if we want to remain relevant. The days of big spending and losses are over.
Nico BO to be paid July 1-2 to allow us to claw and scrap for the next window. 
We should be able to do it relatively easy this time. If you look at our movements over the past few years, we are operating net positive with an upward trajectory.
Just depends on how much bad debt is holding us back and salary payments from those already exited.
Deco is showing he can work with alot of restraint and a sense of ingenuity with movements imo. Would love to see us get another Faye in for the defence as Cuenca could turn into a Hodgeson, but needs alot of work and luck.

Hopefully he is convinced to take the move. He needs to listen to Alex Valle and grow outside, not be content hanging out with Laminay and the Hoes.
We are scraping around the bush but there are 4 big issues we need to sort out this window. All these little deals like Big Dom, Astralaga, etc are good, but don't solve our problems.

Once these four are solved we can breath, and move with Nico and maybe another solid signing. The 5th being the "bonus" of a Christensen or Araujo sale, while the 6th being the Lewy move next year, coz there is 0% chance it happening this Summer.
I think the board are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, and doing a marvelous job.

I agree, we shouldn't be starting the season with 4 keepers than just unheard of, we need to figure it out.
Fati will leave I'm not worried about that.
De Jong will renew, he didn't want to leave when we weren't having success on the field and wanted his money, he's definitely not leaving now that we are starting to win, but It will take time.
We also need to loan Fort and move Garcia to RB, that way if we sell Christensen we can bring in a CB, selling a CB is the only time we should bring in one, as I've long maintain, because we are well covered there.
That will make a certain section of the fanbase happy, even if they know nothing about the CB we sign, kinda like how they thought Tah would be out savior lol.

Selling Araujo for 50m and signing Tah made sense, given the level that Araujo has been at of recent. Not that Tah would be particularly good or anything. Just a good financial move and a sideways sporting one.
Araujo does have more upside though that the club knows is there and hoping to bring back this season. I think their plan is a good season in rotation, strong showing in the world cup and a big sale next summer.

Fort has 1 year left in contract, loan means we have to renew first and I am not sure he will be open to that.
I've a feeling a RB is joining, not a CB

Oh really I didn't know that.
They will renew him, he has talent, if not for us then for someone else and we can get some cash for him now and more in the future with a sell on clause.
Moving Kounde to CB would Make me very happy, if they bought a starting quality RB

Yes from a business prospective selling araujo makes perfect sense, that's why I was for it even though I'm a fan of his..
I would rather sell him than Christensen, because we would get more money and Christensen fits flickball better.
Then we could move for a top quality RB and CB.
But maybe deco is cooking something up
