Easy to suggest he'd automatically score thanks to our attack but then so should donkeys like Lewandowski and Ferran. We need a striker of a higher calibre than what we have.

It's a shame Rashford can't play CF in our system. Would solve a lot of problems, at least short term.

Yea because lewa hasn't average 30 goals for us since being here and scored 30+ last season.

Torres wasn't looking like a top player just a 6 weeks ago thanks to flick ball.

Da fuck you talking about

He's better than Torres, younger more mobile than lewa, 25 goals with flick ball will be an ease.

They have but they aren't now, that's what I meant. It's not a guarantee that the CF will score goals just because of our attacking setup.

Of course not but almost every attacking players numbers have improved under Flick and I would bet fitness permitting likes of Vlahovic would score a lot more than has at Juve.

Ferran/Lewa may start scoring again and it is over a season can look at what they did. Not sure can just say they are both done for season now without goals.

Them being off form, doesn't eliminate the fact that flick ball has allowed them to score more goals than they other wise would at other teams.

We aren't talking about form, every play has dips during a season.

But the system over produces for forwards and any competent striker will eat playing for flick.

Vlahovic isn't WC, but on a free he would be a good pick up, that does a job for us.

I would be stunned if we sign him he stays fit and doesn't bag 25-30 goals.

That's what I'm saying, Vlahovic would not be an improvement on what we have, even if he might score more here than at Juve.

He may improve what have but again it is also due to his cost and what if signed would allow to do with other transfers.

I doubt anyone thinks Vlahovic is better than Osihmen if money is no object for example.

What would it take for Vlahovic to be worth it?

Some loose rumours from Corriero dello Sport say that Vlahovic initial demands were 10m net + 15m sign-on, which I doubt anyone will pay. Also seems more open to renewing with Juve.

I see it as a big risk, with us ending up with an expensive player not proving worth it.
Only way I'd take Vlahovic is on a short contract.

The media in Italy have said Juve want to renew him on 6/7m and similar signing bonus and quoting Yildiz contract.

Their tax is more generous but even adding 50% on to that looking at 9/10m and similar signing fee.

Who should Barca sign if money is tight?

Nobody will make a decision on Vlahovic today after not playing a single minute in 2026. There are a lot of unknown factors before thinking about signing him. His level after injury, our finances, level of our CFs at the end of the season, other market opportunities etc. We'll see if money will be tight or not in 3 months.

Either way, I wouldn't cry if he signed a new contract with Juve tomorrow. I don't see Vlahovic as a difference maker in terms of success vs no success.

If money is tight what would you prefer Barca to do?

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
I'm starting to lean more on hoping we DON'T make 1:1. I'm convinced they will not buy the right players and will waste money on mediocrity like Madrid have done.

Unlike Madrid, or the EPL FFP cheats, we are not state backed and wasting 200m is not something we can overcome one season later.

What's worse, a trophyless season next season and then rebuild? Or wasting what little money we have for the next few years on average players and having them players dig their heels in and stay at the club for the remainder of their contract?

There is no talent out there for us to push the boat out for. Save the money for another season where new players will emerge who are worthy of the shirt.
