Laporta saying "if it's necessary" lol as if it's not painfully obvious IT IS indeed necessary

Flick gotta start pressuring them a bit. Say in the media we gotta do something this transfer window. Don't let them get away with such statements

Just another hint that Lewa will get a contract extension. Lewa also had an interview where he said he's very happy here and has everything he wants at Barca. They are just waiting for elections so stupid fans can lie themselves that we'll buy a top striker. After elections Lewa gets a new contract and all hope we find a new striker will be gone.

Well it goes both ways, could have been the usual complaint from fans if he said something else "why do we always reveal our strategy in the transfer market".

Just keep calm and criticize after the window. A lot will happen until then.

FC Barcelona have opened talks for centre-back Luka Vušković with his agent Pini Zahavi. This season, he's excelled on loan at Bundesliga side Hamburg from Tottenham Hotspur. [@Plettigoal]

Doesn't align with the rumours about not spending big on a CB. I doubt he would be cheap.
He is a generational talent. He won't be cheap for sure but he has everything to succeed on a highest level. Probably the only thing he lacks a is speed. However, he excels in every other aspect of the game. He is strong, unbelievable good on the ball, has a great instinct for scoring goals and is a monster in air duels.

On the other hand there are also rumor about Van de Ven who doesn't have anything except speed.

Vlahovic on a free isn't perfect
But he's not terrible, can probably get us 20-30 goals with flickball

Vlahovic has 69 non penalty goals in his 8th Seria A season there, he has scored more than 20 goals twice in his career and the last time he did was 4 years ago.

In his Seri A career he averages a non penalty goal every 206 minutes, and an assist every 838 minutes.

And he is an attacker who underperforms his xG, while not even generating that much xG anyway.

On top of that he had serious muscle injury this season, and he is the same age as Torres, not some prospect. It simply feels he was wither a one season wonder, or he has been on his Coutinho type of effect in Juve.

Maybe a change of scenario will make wonders with him. But miracles aside, there isn't many things to suggest that even Flick can get such high numbers from him.

It is a scary thought that he might move to Barca for one last fat contract and stop caring about the game all together.

Tottenham will not sell Vuskovic unless there is astronomical fee in place.

Except they go to Chamionship, but doubt it.

He will not go for less like 60-70mil lol.

Just get Senesi and we are good.

Invest in striker and don't get Vlahovic and Alvarez

We offered a new contract to Christensen, he'll be like a new CB signing. In a month or two we'll offer a new contract to tractor as well.

I have absolutely zero hope we'll sign any first team ready player in the summer. Even potential free agents who could be realistically available (like Senesi) will go elsewhere because we couldn't guarantee them a registration before late August and nobody will want to wait for so long. But ofc Lieporta will continue to spread false hope/lies after re-election.

So the best we can hope for is Deco will continue to bring in cheap talents and one or two of them will pay off in a few years. And our best bet are ofc La Masia kids.

Barca will bring at least a couple of players who are first team material. We have done that consistently almost every summer (Rashford and Joan in 2025, Olmo in 2024, Gundogan and Inigo in 2023 along Cancelo).

We won't spend big, but we will surely get reinforcements.
