He is far from perfect profile for this system but at least proven on the big stage and he likely won't flop. His finishing is good and he has the technical, physical fundamentals just lacks height

Alvarez is a quality player hampered by Simeone's haramball, but when one of your superstar's top qualities are his crosses then Alvarez' lack of height becomes a bit of an issue.

Honestly, Vlahovic is a better fit than Alvarez and will probably score more goals than Alvarez in our system... Also, 120M cheaper
