Gavi playing like Gavi >>>>>> wannabe Gattuso act
Yup.

Flick hopefully will continue to help him develop his skills vs focusing on the wild pressing macho man act.

His development fell way behind and the injury didnt help. Unfortunately the only real position available for the taking in midfield is the 10. If he can develop an attacking edge to his game, it's his for the taking because as good as Fermin can be, he's limited, and Olmo has been largely shit when he isnt actually injured.

Otherwise he'll be a sub, which I'm okay with for now.

Gavi playing like gavi includes being a mini gattuso, fans need to understand that.

He didn’t in his first 12-18 months though.

He was aggressive which is great, but then resorted to being too aggressive where he would drag himself out of position and end up getting booked all the time for dumb fouls.

Not so good.

The role he was tasked to play in the title winning season was a needed one, we were too soft in previous years and had a bunch of softies in midfield.

Pedri, de jong, busquets, gavi in the square, we had enough passers, we needed something else.

But that's why I said mini in the gattuso, he will always be aggressive that's his nature, but he's an even better footballer, which many either forgot or don't understand, I don't know which.

But when he starts playing well, we'll hear a lot of we've never seen this before, we've seen it for all but 1 season.

Even the season he picked up the ACL injury he was class and his injury was one of the main reason we didn't win the title, alongside the goal keeper, played Madrid's Midfield off the park in the game we lost 1-2.
