4 - Ronald McDonald Araújo

You're welcome

Exactly what Henry said! For me this is worse than his PSG and Chelsea red card, that's was in a split second where he tackled to hard, that can happen to anybody but this is just laziness and stupidity.

Defended him for a long time but after all the mistakes, red cards, knocking out of CL because of him, the holiday during the season, you pay your fans and the club back with this kind of laziness in a crucial CL game?

Normies catching on to what I have been saying for 4 seasons.

We have chosen terrible captains for some time now.
Stegen and this dude - that's crazy work from Flick. Ara is on top of my list who I want to sell, probably many with me (Tuna close second) - and Flick makes him captain lol... This dude, Ferran and Casado shouldn't even be in the squad.

Worse than PSG and Chelsea? You gotta be joking man. Not even close

Without that "mistake" game would end 0-0 (we likely wouldn't risk and push for a goal towards the end). With it ended 1-1. Big difference

It's a mistake on his part but he is not the only one to blame for that goal. Raphinha did very bad job covering for him there and that cross in itself maybe should have been prevented

For those red cards it's only him who fucked up. I think you guys are too harsh now. This is the kind of mistakes Kounde makes every week and while that's not a high bar he's our starter and plays every game

This guy's poor judgement..

Ronald Araújo also invited Marc-André ter Stegen to the dinner at his house last night. The goalkeeper, injured and on loan at Girona FC, didn't hesitate and accepted the invite. [@DBR8]

You didn't understand me. I think the Newcastle mistake is worse because it happened because of lack of effort, laziness and stupidity. The Chelsea/PSG red cards were just a split second decision where he went too hard into the tackle. I can understand that but can't understand the laziness he showed against Newcastle.

The consequences of the PSG mistake were obviously the worst.

So a „mistake“ that lead to a mistake from raphinha that lead to a goal is worse than the stupid red card? (including the reasons you mentioned)
Maybe we find a „mistake“ before araujo‘s mistake (the corner which lead to a goal kick?) and have a new player to blame ;-)

I shouldn't call it a mistake, I should call it laziness. Mistakes (like the one against PSG/Chelsea) happen, laziness shouldn't.
Yeah, shouldnt but situations like this happen all the time especially if you have cramps, but one should then be able to expect that the teammate doesn't behave defensively like a Segunda defender.

tbf, I don’t know which is worse: inviting, or not inviting.

Smartest thing would’ve been not organizing the dinner altogether.

He's a good lad with his heart in the right place.

Hope his body follows in the summer cause this ain't it, amigo.

Elite competitive sport is brutal like this. You're doing a disservice to players to put them at a level of pressure they neither like, or are not capable to function well at. This is what clubs like Barcelona are like though, and should be like. A place for the elite, where you get a lot (money, fame, glory etc.), but also under huge pressure to give a lot. One without the other is imposture.
