4 - Ronald McDonald Araújo

Exactly what Henry said! For me this is worse than his PSG and Chelsea red card, that's was in a split second where he tackled to hard, that can happen to anybody but this is just laziness and stupidity.

Defended him for a long time but after all the mistakes, red cards, knocking out of CL because of him, the holiday during the season, you pay your fans and the club back with this kind of laziness in a crucial CL game?
This video absolutely clearly shows that Casado and Raphinha are equally to blame here. Araujo should have come back to his position as he had time and that's his fault, but look at those two idiots and what they're doing. If you ever played football, even futsal, you should know that if your teammate is out of position and you see an opponent in a goalscoring position you attack that player and block the space without questioning any fucking thing or checking who/where/what. I mean what the fuck, they are standing there like statues. This goal is the same idiotic shit as the corner goal against Liverpool. Clear lack of concentration and communication.

Of course but that doesn't change anything about what Araujo did. He could be back in the defense line in time if he wanted to and Rapha/Casado would do their own job, not his but he chose to act like a clown on his ass and walk back and position himself like he's a CM.

Araujo is not much of a thinker on the park we have seen it time and again.

If asked to make decisions where to go positionally or when to tackle/not to tackle/offiside trap/when and where to play ball he is found wanting.

Ask him to sit deeper and just clear/block things with little decisions to be made and he can be effective enough but very few teams play like that.

Having said that he was ok enough last night considering he is a CB with confidence crisis and very little footballing ability playing at RB.

But its a very low bar.

Or rapha/ Casado could stop fucking around and defend one fucking cross while there's a player out of position

They could, I'm not saying they reacted well. But the main thing is that a player is out of position because of his stupid antics and laziness, not because the manager or the game itself made him leave his position.

They must, perhaps Araujo also thought that the side was secure anyway because Raphinha was there and therefore wanted to defend it in the middle with his size. Raphinha is to blame in this Situation

Is this for real? You fucking go back to your spot. You don't just clown around and expect others to clean up your shite.

Could others have done better and clean up this clown's mess? Sure. But the point is we shouldn't have players in the team who are utterly incompetent at their job and can't even cover the basics.

It was poor communication between them all.

When Araujo is not heading back Raph has to read it better.

Not sure what Casado was doing. He is just a bit of a non entity overall as usual really.
