Not sure of his ceiling, but I'm pretty confident it's pretty high, might not be Lamine etc, but decent, I think. If he keeps on playing like he has like yesterday, I'm sure there's going to be a team that will show up and dump a lot of money on our doorstep for him.

He's a bit unlucky that he's surrounded by young guys like him who are also extremely talented or guys like Raph that are in the middle of their prime and won't be displaced.

He is not getting much minutes on RW

So we probably should do more of that Betis thing. Yamal and Roony shifting between RW and AM through the game. It works very well. And Olmo/Fermin will probably give him space to play considering their inconsistency and fitness issues

I'd love to see him stay in Barca but I guess he will be sacrificied in the summer for new signings.. CB is needed, Barca also plan to pay 30M and permanantly sign Rashford.. The club will need money..

Nah, we arent a selling club.
If the player doesn't want to leave, he usually stays. And I don't think Roony will want to at all.

Its more likely that Chelsea or some other big clubs come for Fermin like last year and he is enticed away. But it all depends on how much game time & satisfaction Fermin gets this half of the season.

Edit: On top its more likely next summer, we try and successfully sign Roony's brother, who will be off age, so he can be transferred to Spain.

There is a risk of plenty of movement in attack depending on Rashford and Lewy, so no way we also sell Roony to get 3 new players.

Either we will need 3 players and easiest is to renew Lewy on a lower contract and keeping Roony, so that we can just focus on Rashy or a cheaper player. That way we can bolster the defence.

I'd be majorly surprised if we managed to get anything close to 30m despite Rooney bright performances.

We are bad enough at sales and broke enough to celebrate a 15m sale and flip.

Personally, if he is impressing Flick in training enough, then we should keep him as getting someone with enough quality to step in for Lamine is hard enough.

If Madrid can have guys like Brahim happy to have these roles for years then why can't we.
