Danger Ahead
Damn now it hit me, Messi should have passed to Javier instead of Suarez when he took that pen, so that he would get his first goal for Barca:tata:. But whatever, next time:D

Strange. His passing accuracy was 91.4% yesterday. Just lost to Arda, who had 100%. Masch also had the most passes in the game.

and how many of those passes were forward passes ?, rewatch the game to see what I am talking about, I recall a more than a few times when he passed forward and the receiving player either lost the ball or it was intercepted.

He had 20 long balls, and 16 of those were accurate. The fact is a player with 91.4% of pass accuracy did not lack in that aspect, in any way. He only misplaced 7 of his 81 passes.

The Argentinian played his 264th game for Barça on Sunday night, thus equalling the tally of the current Southampton manager

Javier Mascherano made his 264th appearance for FC Barcelona against Celta on Sunday night, thus drawing level with the ‘hero of Wembley 1992’, Ronald Koeman, as he rises up the list of the foreigners with the most games for Barça.

In five seasons at the club, the Argentinian has won 15 major trophies, compared to the Dutchman’s 12, including two Champions Leagues, three Ligas and two Club World Cups.

Mascherano came to Barcelona from Liverpool in 2010, originally as a defensive midfielder, although at Barça he was used more and more as a central defender, and that eventually became his most regular position, the same as Koeman. Both players have also worn the captain’s armband.

Cocu next

If he plays on Wednesday against Sporting Gijón, Mascherano will edge ahead of Koeman to 265 games. The next player on the list is also from Holland, Cocu, who has played 292 times for FCB, the second highest number ever for a foreign import.

Masche should score only 1 goal for us. And that should be a 30m pin point cannonball right into the corner of the net. The petition should be about MSN feeding Masche for the whole game and him shooting.

Rakitic needs to start coaching Masche now, he's the only one in the team that can do it.

I trust him more that Pique lately. He's been reliable.

Actually more of a leader, with regards to responsibility ?

Well, I think Masch does a lot better playingbeside Pique than playing beside anyone else. Both have a huge effect on the whole team, but this year I'd have to say that Pique is the glue that holds the defense together.
