Very good argument to me made that he's the best player in the world over the last two season.

No team in the world he wouldn't make
No team he wouldn't improve.

Every since he came to Barcelona. He's gone from multiple moments if clutchness to win us a league title, to World class.

Raphinha's in-game mentality reminds me of peak Tevez.

Tevez is a nice call.

I would say Raphinha now has lots of similarities with Rivaldo. Ruthless in front of goal, clutch and even their low driven shot. Of course Raphinha doesn't have Rivaldo's genius but work much harder.

I would love to hear what Xavi has to say about his time with Raphinha - I still think he began to get it right towards the end of his tenure when the player accepted a role on LW when it was clear Lamine owned the RW. Definitely different things were asked of him on top of less confidence but surely game respected game

Since Puyol we never had our actual captain wearing the armband because the players who vote for the captain only look at longevity, not leadership material. It started decades ago and it's the norm in this dressing room. The club should change that and let the manager decide the captain, I'm sure Flick would choose Raphinha. It looked like we came to our senses during the summer when there were rumors we'd strip the band from the terrorist after his post where he fucked the club but in the end they didn't have the balls. Our first two captains are MATS and Araujo, could they even choose worse options if they tried?

Many people wanted Araujo as captain early on tbf.

At least we have a vote. RM is purely based on years in first team.
