Very good argument to me made that he's the best player in the world over the last two season.

No team in the world he wouldn't make
No team he wouldn't improve.

Every since he came to Barcelona. He's gone from multiple moments if clutchness to win us a league title, to World class.

The defensive ferocity and attacking intent he brings in big games is what makes the Flick system tick so well.

ADM is a technical wizard with amazing natural ability.

Raphinha is a physical monster with hardworking mentality.

Odd comparison imo.

Raphinha's in-game mentality reminds me of peak Tevez.

Tevez is a nice call.

I would say Raphinha now has lots of similarities with Rivaldo. Ruthless in front of goal, clutch and even their low driven shot. Of course Raphinha doesn't have Rivaldo's genius but work much harder.

I would love to hear what Xavi has to say about his time with Raphinha - I still think he began to get it right towards the end of his tenure when the player accepted a role on LW when it was clear Lamine owned the RW. Definitely different things were asked of him on top of less confidence but surely game respected game

Of course, I missed it as well…albeit from afar. The turnaround is nothing short of astonishing
