JUST IN: Ter Stegen is ready to face the competition for the #1 position at Barça. For any clubs that contact his agent, the answer is clear, he wants to stay at Barcelona. [@HelenaCondis]

Fabrizio even said there are european clubs interested in him, but he thinks he can stay and compete for the main spot when the club is extending Tek's contract and pushing him out.

He is ready to fight? All we hear he wants guaranteed #1 spot. Spoiled brat.

Well... good luck.

I think theere must be some truth to these rumours. Usually we start hearing like this when move is possible. Turkey makes sense.

Galatasaray is the worst option. Turkish window closes after Spanish window so they will just wait it out for a desperation deal like Osimhen.

Now if they could promise Stegen the best hair implants in the country on call, then that may just be a game changer.

Relax, he didn't have the "talk" yet from Deco and Flick. When they'll tell him that he'll be the third keeper, it's very likely he'll change his opinion and leave.

It's not going to be easy for him to leave if he's co-parenting with his ex-wife who still lives in Barcelona.

That's the big problem with divorces that happens due to people "growing apart". Sadly the kids getting stuck in the middle.

Well no smoke without a fire I guess. "Face the competition" lol, probably Fat Bastard, Flick AND Deco all decided it time to move on from the hockey goalie that is Terrorist - I fucking hope so...

That's hard to believe, he knows all to well how inflexible is Flick regarding his decisisons and has the best proof of that in Pena's case.

How do you get that? It's the opposite, Flick was very flexible with goalkeepers, 3 different keepers had longer spells as no.1 this season, that never happens. Pena's case showed he's not afraid to change keepers if he thinks the backup is better than the first one.

I know it won't happen but the best scenario for all the sides would be that MATS goes to Espanyol. MATS gets to stay in Barcelona, Espanyol gets a Garcia replacement and Barca would be terror-free.
