I think its more about our performance than possession. We didn't play that well in the second half, though I'm not really pissed with the overall game.

I like the fact that he's willing to change things up. He doesn't HAVE to have 70%+ possession every game and is more willing to play on the counter when its necessary and/or beneficial. He can play both tiki-taka and a counter-attacking game. Hopefully we won't see any more of the 70%+...

Agree. He cost us a CL final in 2012 and almost cost us the tie against Milan last season.

Actually, this was his third full game in a week. I'm impressed with his performance considering that. Maybe his not so great performances last season were due more to tactics, although I still believe fatigue played a role.

This could be a result of him feeling that his spot is being challenged, given Bartra's great performances recently. Hope he keeps this up.

Yeah, I also think the contract situation has something to do with it. Anyways, I'd start Cesc over Iniesta against Madrid. He's been in better form this season, plus starting him could help Iniesta get back on form, as it would make Iniesta know his spot isn't guaranteed.
