I know it's Marca and the whole thing (including the bid itself) is probably pure BS, but :facepalm: if it's true. If they really did make it such a bid, take it and run a million miles. Doing anything else would be crazy.

They were both better than Ribery individually, and the Ballon d'or is an individual award. IMO it should be 1. Messi 2. Ronaldo 3. Ribery. The Ballon d'or is an award for the best player, not the player playing in the best team.

Our only defender who's better than his RM counterpart is Alba, and that's because of his attacking abilities, not his defending. Carvajal-Ramos-Varane-Marcelo is a much better defense than Alves-Pique-Puyol/Masch-Alba.
