united fans would never in a million years support liverpool or city against a foreign team, i am really shocked to see barca fans supporting madrid in this tie, if you ask me any barca fan that supports madrid in a champions league tie is not a true barca fan, just alot of closet premier league supporters in here who are jealous at united's success..........

Not I. :) I'm a Calcio fan, always have been. I respect United as a club but have no reason to be jealous of them: they've won fewer CL titles than Milan's former #10. As far as Liga football goes, I am mostly a neutral though I'll tend to prefer one club over another. Right now, I like Athletic, trainwreck of a club though they might be.

My Scottish allegiance comes first. Except Celtic, they can GTFO.

The most worrying thing for Utd in my opinion and why they will lose the tie is because they play the same way as there opponents but they dont have anywhere near as many good players.

Mark my words Van Persie will be completly anonymous, Rooney will show alot of heart but wont have a huge impact and Carrick wont be controlling the midfield like he does in England.

I hope i am wrong and Utd come away with a win but if you look at all factors i think Utd are being given a bigger chance than they deserve.

Why in the world do you think that?

People talking about English press early on:-

Jesus Christ  now that is bonkers journalism! Funny, but bonkers  That is just how it is in Spain though, if United play Madrid off the pitch the likes of Marca will never admit how the game went and tell it how it was, unlike English press if United lose, that's the difference. So yeah i really don't understand why people have agendas with English press on here.

This. It's a matter of principle.

I concur. Madrid losing out as quick as possible would just be the sweetest thing in the world lol. I would never pray for their success. Imagine how awesome it would be to see them knocked out so early.....mou's face !!!

Plus marketing wise, we sell the most jerseys, our logo is everywhere around the world, we sell more merchandise than any other football team, we have a massive stadium, we have history, 3 cl titles, 19 EPL titles, what more is there to say?
