But when it comes to the Champion's League or World Cup, most journos and pundits tend to side with the team from their own country.

Just look at Gary Neville from last year's final. He's a former Manchester United star but you know he wanted Chelsea to beat Bayern badly.

What is wrong with that? Again doesn't this happen in every country? Don't say it doesn't, so what is the problem? England cannot be patriotic?

You've not fixed anything because they are the biggest club in England and the world.

And lost twice last year to a club that signs only players from a small region of northern spain/southern france. United may have the highest revenue according to Forbes but they also have a not insignificant gross debt of 423 million (according to their IPO paperwork).

Same reason why people hate America, they are the biggest club the world.

WOW.
America is hated for far more substancial reasons! Very awkward, that comment of yours, I hope that you are not an American because that makes it even more awkward and delusional..

United are the biggest and best in most departments, 1 could say football pitch, 3 out of the last 5 Champions League finals demonstrates how powerful United are on the pitch, won more trophy's out of any team in Europe in the last 25 years, biggest supported club in the world, highest revenue, most valuable club, i can't see why anyone would have a problem with what i said, they are the biggest no doubt about it. Only team who COULD maybe say otherwise is Real Madrid, especially with their European trophies even though they won most of those in a era where no one was bothered about the European Cup.

But one thing is for sure, the game on Wednesday are the 2 biggest clubs in the world against each other.

I think we're all pretty clear on your opinion at this point. :)

So. Will United's defense and midfield be able to deal with Madrid's counterattack? That's my big concern.
