The way he plays is way less harsh on the joints than Gavi, so we can't apply apples to all.

Freak injury first time mind. Iirc was poor weather though.

Etoo came back after his acl vs Bremen in 2008 and exactly
False.. Gavi was not rushed at all.

Likes of Rodri played after 8 months and still barely been a year.

As have been told plenty of times.. 2 years is a fabricated timeline for players to be 'fully back' as seen with plenty of examples.
After 6 months came back banging goals and as fast as ever. In fact his post acl career is even more brilliant than pre-acl.

Wirtz was player of Year in Germany within 2 years.
Van Dijk was in EPL and UEFA team of year.
Roy Keane captained Man Utd to a treble and was PFA player of year.
Van Nistelrooy won EPL player of year.

There are many more examples.

Rodri came back after 8 months.. but 'Barca rush' Gavi and Bernal.

Gavi is possibly partly due to play and run style. His levers are all over the place and I can feel the strain his knees are put under when he turns.

Same way with Araujo heavy impact and his ankle.

Then you have Olmo who plays low set but unable to ride challenges (like Neymar for example) and always takes heavy impacts and gets injured.

Injuries waiting to happen these lads.

Yeah tru.

Also the flip side of the coin hold true as well.. some players were completely done after ACL such as R9, Falcao , Alaba to name a few..

I think it has nothing to do with specific playing parameters .. more of a combination of idiosyncratic factors and player-willingness .

Certain styles will be more prone to injury inducing impacts.

I'll give you an example but can't give names. I'm watching a very young youth prospect from a LaLiga academy weekly.

He is the best talent in the age group but every training session he is getting hurt. No serious injuries luckily though.

But this style its only a matter of time until he is. Dribbles way too hard, plants feet when turning past opponents and doesn't know how to ride a challenge.
