I understand Bilbao don't make it easy for Barca to sign their star player but this is just low and pathetic.. Barcelona's finances are none of their bussiness firstly, secondly its pretty clear how things work with release clause.. Once its paid you get the player, end of story.. I'm pretty sure they knew Nico won't be there forever. I honestly hope Nico signs for us and destroys Bilbao when they face Barca

It's clear as day Bilbao won't accept no installments pay for Nico. So if the club and the player have a deal why don't Barca just pay the full sum and get the deal done once and for all? If it is Tebas and FFP that stands in the way of the transfer why didn't they sorted it aleady by now?

That's part of it, but athletic were bitching when we registered olmo and they always act retarded when a big club comes in for a player. Look at javi Martinez and laporte

Bilbao need to stop the retardedness.

Start a poll and ask if the fans would agree to 3 non Basque players in the squad.

That if yes, they will replace Nico with Gyokeres and Mbueno.

See what they think.

As Socrates once said, Pride only makes you gay.

Exactly, that's why I've been saying for years, they should simple do something like that, which I'm sure the fans will accept and then will be better able to complete.

They are already stretching what it means to be basque to the absolute limit, as it is now anyways.

They could be up there with Barca if they amended their policy. Barca after all use a Catalan/La Masia core with a sprinkle of foreign talents where needed.

They would be the Basque, inferior, version of it. Would probably find a Sheikh with basque heritage to buy em too.

They would easily be the 3rd team in Spain, because Atleti is becoming a joke and Valencia and Sevilla are almost dead.

They have a wonderful opportunity if they just adjust their policy.

Instead they want to stand on some non Sense and act like children whenever anyone comes in to sign there players.

If the players want to leave & your policy is clubs need to pay the buy out clause, then when a club does so, that's it.

There is no comparison between Atletico and Bilbao. Atletico is vastly superior. From 3rd place in Spain to 4th there's a substantial drop of quality. I don't care about Bilbao's tantrums. Situation is very simple, if we pay the buyout he's hours. But we need to pay it only if we are sure we can register him.

Yea obviously now, what we are talking about is if they adjusted their transfer policy to allow 3 non basque players in the team.

3 high class non basque players in their XI they are rather easily the 3rd best team in la liga.

Why the hell do I see more and more news that his net salary will be 7-8 million euros. Initially they were talking about 6-6.5 million euros.

Don't think so. Atletico have like 5-6 world cup winners. But they could cut the gap if they changed their model.
