I agree, ideally winger should be fast.
But as long as you have fast, attacking lb who hugs the line it's alright. Plus we might finally get fast center forward next year as well.

The bench players for big clubs were usually starters in smaller ones.
They get paid better and compete for titles while doing so.
Also, Nico would likely get at least 2k minutes in a club like Barca if he joins.

However, he is more likely to walk into starting lineup for some other big clubs too. Like Bayern and Arsenal, maybe Liverpool.
