Yes with the key point being that it's different next season and we make a great European run.

If the team is good enough to be 12 points ahead of Madrid it is surely good enough to make a run next season.

Nobody will hold Europe against him much if that happens.

That is what will happen. It's natural progression. First you do great in your country, young players get confident after they get used to winning titles, and you arrive on the big stage. It's normal par for the course for the building blocks of a young team.

Normally, I'd want us to sign some elite players and maybe even aim as high as making the CL final next season. But even if we don't, since it's next to impossible, getting past the groups and maybe checking a CL quarterfinal will happen at worst imo.

Either way we'll count in CL next season for sure.

Whether it happens or not does not make any difference to this season and stating mistakes were made.

Surely no one is dumb enough to repeat them.

Getting past groups should absolutely be an expectation and a huge stain if dont or then got out to an inferior side after that.

Working overtime I see.

I couldn't care less about this season if we win titles.

The most important things at the end of the day is winning CL.

CL, EPL, La Liga champions, these are the top tier winners every year and we'll belong there. So moan all you want.

Eh?

I am saying Xavi did not start best team v Inter and FDJ was missed. Not just him.

You are one that are saying likes of Pedri/Gavi/Dembele were not missed v United with your top logic.

I think all of them were missed.

Usual awful argument from Jammy.

Eh indeed,

jammy talking fuckery to suit is narrative as usual. Lol.

Talking about all of them were missed, lol. When you constantly told us injuries were no excuses for Xavi's failures in Europe.

Injuries are no excuse, every team has injuries, now Dembele & gavi was "missed" lol

FJD plays we still ain't winning that again, deal with it.

Jammy nonsense.

Missing best players only matters when I say so.

Usual.

Jammy logic.... Dembele/Pedri etc not missed v Man Utd as beaten so often when do play.

FDJ is best player.. ask Serghie

Playing best player matters to give best chance.

Likes of you will moan about Gavi being out v United... but not vastly better player in FDJ being missing v inferior team.

Sensational.

Even better Jammy... 'talking about time all of them were missed' against United....but that doesnt mattter for FDJ.. no no he has to win on his own when Dembele/Pedri and Gavi missing away to United.

Logic of a newt.

Lol, JamDav, I see De Jong was recovering from injury and was only a sub 3 days before Inter home game.

So all your arguments is basically Xavi not wanting to risk a player that was not 100% when he had Pedri and Gavi 100% fit.

Good one. So even here, player was not risk free and was barely fit.

Fucking clown wasting my time.

Agsinst Inter...Barca had three CBs missing and Xavi had to come up with a team to give Barca the best chance. For me him not playing FDJ in midfield and going with the Busi/Pedri/Gavi trio that had conceded goals and chances in Europe for fun was an error. Then compounded by defence he chose which lacked pace.

By not playing likes of FDJ, Balde etc he made erorrs and didnt give Barca best chance and team could have conceded 5.

Against United Dembele/Pedri and Gavi were all missed in second leg despite fact they had only beaten Plzn as starters in the last years.. makes no difference to them being players that make team better.

Barca despite that could still have done better ad Xavi could make better decisions.. see defence in first leg that ETH targetted.

Not rocket science.

But plebs who claim FDJ makes no difference as lost when starter have to then apply same logic to others.

Of course it makes a difference and improves chances not to play best midfielder and arguably best player.

Simple stuff.

Edit: To add more magnificence again.

Jamrock logic: Pedri and Dembele not missed as get beat when played anyway.

Brah don't waste time in Jamdav

If he applied the same high standards he tries to apply to Xavi & dedication that he applies here to going around trying to argue with everyone, he'd have actual made something of his life, and not be a 40+ year old man that has enough time on his hands to be constantly angrily typing away at his keyboard on some internet forum.

He's the definition of a waste man.

So, on 3 october De Jong is ruled out vs Inter for injury, then on 10 october he is sub vs Celta because he can't play full game, and he doesn't start vs Inter at home 3 days later.

The nerve to use this argument as if the player was in mint condition and Xavi didn't play him because he was an idiot. When in fact he was yet to play a full game prior to Inter home game because he was recovering from injury.

The hate and perversion are off the charts.

You making out FDJ was injured and would have played v Inter otherwise.

Sensational.

FDJ did come on... was not injured and improved team.

Try again.

You can argue with Jammy about best in team FDJ and poor Xavbi missing him as a starter through injury.

Messi also came on vs Inter in 2013, and didn't start fresh from injury. From the bench. Maybe he was fit to play, but not in good condition to start? Lol. Clown.

Maybe if he was fully fit he would've stared. No way to know because he wasn't lol. Thought he was, but apart from the whole defense being out almost, De Jong was also injured.

Attack was fully fit though. But wait, we scored 3 in that match...

Jammy after Xavi's failing against inter & Man utd.

Injuries are no excuse.

Jammy after being pinned in a corner about de jong, team had injuries and was missing key players so it affected him.

Definition of an hypocrite.

He can't be converted. No matter how much you try some people just won't concede anything. Far too stubborned, and I say this as a stubborn person myself. JamDav is another level though.
