Barca were 100% correct to get rid of Suarez.
Too many old legs in team and needed to move on.
About worst Barca to watch as a team was Messi and Suarez standing about park waiting for ball trying to get one another as many goals as possible.
Had to move on from it.
Barca score one less goal in league the season after he left and that was with all the turmoil and Messi wanting to leave.

In comparison, Stegen features in every game, is the main reason Barcelona are #1 in the league this season, and has a head full of hair [2]. He has been on a salary 1.420.000 euros lower than this player.

Stegen got the Barto contract along with De Jong, Lenglet and Pique. I sincerely doubt he is on those numbers considering what the other three got as a 'reward' for deferring their salary.
But if he is, it's true he is underpaid compared to the rest of our squad. Has been a great servant to the club over his time here.

Of course but are we really happy about 3million for Depay? Should have tried to unload him last summer if that was the case. We would get way more money. It seems crappy price now.
Real was ready to pay 200mil for six months Mbappe, so argument that his contract ends in six months isn't there. We should have gotten better price.. especially if you look athe the prices you see in PL. This was the best deal? I am shocked truly. Surprised nobody in PL bite.. I mean depay isn't the best player in the world but he would be starter for many PL clubs. Maybe he didn't want to join them? Who knows.

I doubt the numbers as well. But according to the numbers he was 9th best paid, while he is the 23rd most used player this season.
It is unwise to have players with that wage/playing time discrepancy (no matter the validity of the numbers, it's in the ball park), especially at that age.
At least last season, he was the 9th most used player, and he scored/assisted every other game (six attackers and Sergi Roberto had better output per minute, four attackers (Adama, Ferran, Jutgla, Abde) had worse output)
But it was very predictable that he wouldn't get playing time this season. He shouldn't get playing time in FC Barcelona.

Makes me shed a tear for this poor guy who came here at the worst time and got a measly 10M a season contract. Terrific player and a great loss for this club.
