We didn't bend, they simply target players who are burden on us.
If anything, they are good for us.
Prestigious club (to an extent) in Spain that can pay good wage and are willing to take our deadweight.

PS: Suarez & Villa deals included add-ons that were paid. Overall we got like 10M or so for both. And removed massive salaries for players in their 30's

Villa went for 2.1 M. The add-ons were available only if he spend two more seasons in Atletico. He went to MLS after one season. So 2.1 M of euro for Villa.
