Memphis Depay

I'm not seeing that physicality personally from Depay, he kind of drops easily and asks for fouls at the slightest contact. Don't see him hanging on too much. This team is still lacking a 9 big time.

Agreed. Don't see that physicality either. He falls easily and doesn't seem good at holding the ball.

But compared to Luuk, he's like Hulk. Incredible that such a big guy can't fight... well, anyone really. He's luckily better in the air.

Memphis goes down intentionally. He is physically one of the strongest players lol. Why he goes down....dunno..he prefers to win freekicks.

It's professional to go down.

But for strength alone Memphis>>Ansu. I know who I would rather have between CB's.

Edit: Sounds all a bit dirty to be honest.

I love his profile and its exactly what we need right now. Resourceful versatile player that can offer many solutions in the attack, whether that's stretching the fullback, scoring, assisting or holding up the ball. Provokes goals and makes his own and is our reference point.

We'd be a lot worse off without him right now, has been one of the only bright spots so far.

The difference of ball controll of him and Suarez is absurd, this guy is so comfortable with the ball and actually tricks defenders with his dribbling

Hes not consistent though .. one minute hes like Ronaldinho then the next attack its like hes morphed into Braithewaite on a bad day

Memphis is our most robust attacker. Look at his upper body. He has the confidence to battle it out with defenders.

Still too inconsistent with his finishing. He's fine now, basically no pressure arriving for free with the team considered in a transition period.
But if he is to become the leader of the attack of a Barcelona fighting for titles, he needs to score more.

Ansu is so much better than Depay on the wing. The latter is fine in the center, even if he's not clinical. His physicality helps a lot.

One of their best abilities apart from their chemistry with each other is that both Memphis and Ansu are comfortable at both LW and CF. This enables them to comfortably interchange between these 2 positions. That will be a pain in the ass for defenders.

Oh come on, comparing grandpa Suarez to a player in his prime.Another low by Barca forum. Suarez at his peak was 10 times the player Depay is.

And you saw this supposed chemistry in 10 minutes? We have prime Pep on our forum guys!

So...how much dribble success does he had until now? He tries to dribble a lot, but seems he doesn't have a lot of success with it. His technique is fine, but he doesn't have the pace.

42,9% (worst in the team after Coutinho, who only have 1/4 but who might go ahead with more minutes)

pass percentage: 74,5% (worst in the squad by A LOT)
shots on target: 60% (actually good, but many of them didn't only find the target but the keepers chest...)
goal per shot: 10% (on the other hand, here he is worst in the team again)
