Simply the best striker that this club has ever had.

And yes, I do think that he is better than Ronaldo (the Brazilian Ronaldo).

And no, I do not want to debate it with anyone.

Ronaldo, to some, may be superior in some aspects (mostly physical). But what Suarez does for the team is almost unprecedented in the game's history. Enrique said it perfectly the other day: Suarez plays for the collective. Suarez's football IQ is something I've never seen a striker have. He's re-written the position and should be regarded as 1 of the 2-3 greatest strikers to ever play the game (maybe even the best).

I agree ive been saying this for long time he is def all time top 3, i got him 2nd only to brazilian ronaldo, but suarez Football IQ is better and he is physically stronger and durable than R9 ever was, so yea he is top 2 greatest striker of all time

Suarez all over R9 physically. What people love about R9 is how skillful and devastating he was starting from such a young age similar to Messi. They believe he could have been in contention for the GOAT had injuries and other issues not stood in his way, and it's not a very bad assessment to make.

But in Football and most sports, longevity is important too, which is what separates Messi from everyone else too IMO.

Rafael Nadal's peak might have been all-time greatest, but Federer's immense success, and what he's actually doing right now makes him the greatest of all-time.

Similarly, Suarez should be rated higher than R9 when his career ends. R9's peak might have been freakish, but in the end, whether it is injuries or other issues, performing at a very high level for so many years got to count in your favor.

Eto'o would day hj as it relates to the best striker to play for Barca, not to mention all the great strikers to have played the game outside Barca.

Name those great strikers who have been more productive and contribute more to the team than Suarez does.

Gert Muller, for one. George Best as another example. We can also think of Puskas, Di Stefano, Eusebio or Thierry Henry. Want me to go on?

The point is football didn't start 15 year ago, and comparing or naming one striker over the other the best of all time, and claim it as a FACT is childish.

How can you call him a certain top 3 player when there are players like Pelé, Puskás, Nordahl, Fontaine, Eusebio, Gerd Müller, Cruyff, van Basten, Ronaldo, Zlatan, Eto'o, Lewandowski etc?

Suarez is a lot better than Henry ever was.

Suarez is a lot better than Henry ever was.

Is that a FACT? And when you say better, you mean productive/contribute more to the team( aka the subject of the discussion)? Because i remember Arsenal Henry, where he was practically carrying the whole team.

Or he is better in dribbling, possession, scoring ability speed?

Care to elaborate?

Yeah, that's a good list of players.

I still think that Suarez is better than all of them. And by better, I simply mean better as a player on a holistic level. I do not wish to compare individual aspects like passing, dribbling and shooting.

I would rather have Suarez in my team instead of all those other players. It's as simple as that.

It's hard to compare players from different era's and teams but it's clear that Suarez is a top notch striker. What a beauty of a goal he scored Yesterday!
