Here we go. Cat Radio has spoken.

There is a board meeting scheduled for next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will be about whether or not they're going to resign themselves instead of the motion of no confidence kicking them out later, which is probably more painful. [cat radio]

Why next week? The vote counts exceeding was expected anyway! They keep postponing their resignation in hope for someone to save them or what? This is ridiculous!

SER | The Union of Catalonia agreed to hold a vote to withdraw after a meeting between the sports, internal and health circles. They will inform the club of the decision

Either:

1) In about a month there will be a vote to vote the current administration out. If at least 66% of votes are against Barto, they will be removed.

or

2) The board resigns and no removal vote will be held and we will move directly into elections.

Is it 66% of members or 66% of votes?

There are in the neighborhood of 150k members, 15% (16,500 signatures) were needed by September 23 to force a vote of no confidence. Now that the necessary signatures are finally obtained and validated by the club, the 'true' machinery of the motion, which involves a vote where a minimum of 10% of the member census participates requires 2/3 of votes against the president for it to succeed in the removal of Bartomeu & his board from office with immediate effect

Vote has to be within 20 days and if successful, elections would be called up 40-90 days after

There's absolutely no chance Bartomeu resigns in my opinion, rather tactics on how to prevent sufficient 2/3 to be successful.

There is also the matter of the fiscal imbalance that Bartomeu & board will be personally on the hook for, also with immediate effect, should the vote be successful in their ousting - Unless a deal is brokered

The vice president of Bar?a, Jordi Cardoner announces at a press conference that the Assembly of Committees on 25th October is postponed.

Jordi Cardoner (vice president): "At no time have the Board of Directors spoken of resigning."

Cardoner: "We are more united than ever and with the president. There are 19,000 people who signed the vote of no confidence, but there are also 90,000 who didn't sign."

Cardoner: "I cannot say for certain that there will be a referendum. It will depend on health guarantees."

What do the rules say? Does the vote have to be cast in person in Barcelona?

If that's the case it'll be a lot harder to remove Bartomeu through the voting process, and that's probably what the board members are hoping for.

It would be held in Camp Nou facilities only.

There was a report few days ago that authorities will allow it, but the board will surely try to use that card

BOOM.
It will start getting ugly now.

What I wrote in September about it:
Now that it's clear how feasible it is to vote them out when it comes to numbers, you can anticipate that Barto and his gang will not take it lightly.
They will take up the challenge, and do everything possible to block and sabotage the next steps before voting of no confidence can take place:
Either invalidating some signatures through the special body ('Table for the Vote of No Confidence') formed for that purpose
Or making sure an assembly to vote the board out cannot be called in the midst of the pandemic.

Be ready: It will get as dirty as possible.
We saw how ruthless Barto was with Messi, but above all how ruthless he was with making sure they will even destroy the club to not get held liable for financial mishandling.
This is a war for them.
