David :( Hes one of my favourite players but I have a feeling he'll flop ala Veron, and then come back to play for Villareal.

A couple of you guys really need to give your heads a massive wobble. La Liga may be the flavour of the moment for players who like the pretty pretty sunshine and nice tax breaks but the premier league is still the best in the world. The prestige that comes with winning the FA cup and Premier league title is far more apealing than winning the tin pot trophies on offer in Spain.

The FA Cup is down there with the Copa del Rey and Coppa Italia these days, nobody gives a shiny shit about it unless they get a derby or they're a small club playing one of the top PL sides. FA Cup final day isn't even an event in the modern era, it pains me to say it but the gloss has well and truly worn off as far as the Cup's concerned, only the faux romanticism stoked by the likes of John Motson and people flogging archive footage maintains the illusion of the FA Cup being important.

I've always considered him to be massively overrated.

Back on topic however:

A Johnson....Yaya....Milner....Silva

That's an awsome midfield. City will hit the big time sooner than some people think.

I'm from Englandf and I can safely say that there is too many Narrow minded people over here who are simply just biased towards the prem and thats all.

How can it be the best? What define's it as being the best?

Also Milners overrated as fuck.

The FA Cup also no longer has any of its former glory, it's now just a trophy for Chelsea to win just to say they have won something, more than it actually meaning something. The FA doesn't mean a doddle to me anymore, it's not like it was back in the day, nowere near.

It's confirmed by their vice-president that Silva is given permission to discuss terms with City although there isn't any agreement in place between the clubs

hehe yeah

Silva should give some hope for Villa to retain Milner... can't see them having both of 'em

I bet we do ya know. Dunno why but i reckon Mancini thinks Milner more important than any other signing. Young, Strong, Talented and most importantly English. In the past nationality wouldn't be an issue but with the new rulings it has become a big issue. He plays for England today. Hope he plays a blinder. But iregardless he is very good in the prem.

YACHETY SCHMACHETY! What a load of crap. Technically, the EPL cant live with La Liga.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree mate. I still think that over all the EPL is by far the best league in the world. But i wont knock anybody for disagreeing.

Sadly, the price of commercialism where for many clubs, a 4th place finish in the EPL is considered more of an achievement, and a lot more lucrative, than a cup win. Very sad.

Look at Silva's agent saying Chelsea have made an offer, how much more will City pay him because of this news?

Valencian newspapers are claiming that Valencia and Manchester City reached a agreement, 35 million in exchange for Silva. Damn we could get him for 35 instead of paying 50+ for Cesc.

Silva's agent, however, is claiming that they're also presently weighing up a move to Stamford Bridge as well
