I agree, but Umtiti did make his debut in top flight football 5 years ago and I think he has played about 150 games for Lyon. If we're talking about the NT I agree. It is extremely difficult to be a defender in a team where you are just getting to know your teammates and in such high pressure games as these.

yep, the key is to anticipate which run he will make during set pieces, which is what great defenses are good at preventing. once he's already in position and in the air, it's usually GG. we will really see umtiti's anticipation and reading of the game tested on sunday.
