I'm still okay with him leaving. He clearly showed he isn't Guardiola 2.0. He has some good things going for him and some bad things. He develops the youth, he wants to play in a dominant and attractive way, he improved the overall stamina of the team, so we started to turn games around.
But the injuries keep piling up, he doesn't use the strengths of many players, his useless brother has this job only thanks to his family status, he showed weaknesses in big/ knock out games, he doesn't control himself on the sidelines, which is getting embarassing for the club and he unprofessionally announced his departure after getting humiliated by Villareal.
I see why Laporta wants to keep him another season. Mainly it's because the club has no money. A decent coach will bring a big team and they all want money, while Xavi never asked for a big salary understanding the club's position and Laporta wants to invest every Euro he has into new players, not coaching staff.
