He needs to get back in the game if he wants to do something with his career. Would prefer some La Liga team instead of United though, don't believe he'll end up there.

Maybe he just doesn't care about managing a club that much? First the Qatar lost years and now more than a season without coaching too.
He obviously wants a Premier League job. That's where the best managers want to go.

He should ask for an apprenticeship under one of the big guns in the EPL. Do that for a year or two and then assume the responsibility of a club. Doesn’t have to be a top club. Maybe a smaller Italian, Spanish, or German club. Then move up the ladder.

Also, Xavi needs to get his next move right. Perhaps going to a whorehouse on fire of a club ain’t in his best interest?

United should play it safe and hire the most proven manager who wants to come. Howe? Emery? Conte?

Not joking when I say that these managers may not want to manage Utd despite having invested hundreds of millions in the last transfer window. 🤣 🤣

Either way, both Utd and Xavi need to get their next moves right.

Xavi would probably get them to about 10th place with gimpball, an improvement on Ham ofc but they already said squad's top four level which I agree with.

I was watching the highlights of the Matchday 37 tie 2009-10 between Sevilla and Barcelona. And when I saw Xavi’s assist for the 2nd goal I have to admit I realised there will never be another Xavi for this club. He is one of a kind and I am sure that no one could replicate his football genius in the midfield. Pedri is not in the same way of producing chances as Xavi although Pedri’s playstyle is similar to Iniesta.

My point is there will never be another Xavi.

Ar 46, he isn't exactly young for a coach.

He is older than the likes of Arteta and Alonso who are fairly experienced coaches now.

Xavi needs a job soon, or he will be in the Gulf area for the rest of his career.
It seems clear he is waiting for United, even since he left Barca he speaks about United so much and references their money.

Probably will not take too long for Amorim to be sacked, so we will see how he does with the budget he always wanted.

Zidane will never top what he did at Madrid, knowing the massive amount of luck involved. It doesn't make sense for him to take another job and be found out; he's done the unthinkable, nothing left to prove.

Xavi, on the other hand, has something to prove, but he wants to be put in a situation he thinks he can succeed in, but those opportunities aren't being given to him because clubs see other managers as being better suited for the job.

I think he'd rather not manage than go to a situation where he thinks he's set up to fail, because that would be it for his managerial career.
