Xavi is disaster himself until gets his shit together. Mara of coaches. Can't shut up yapping damaging or irrelevant stuff to media, is weak tactician and suffers from same nepotism incompetency that whole Barca ethos does.
Should settle down for mid table club that allows him full freedom to experiment and hone his skills, acquire experience. MU would be damaging both for him and club, although great entertainment for popcorn eaters.

We need your take on the Xavi to United rumors bro. 🤔

I don't think they are looking in his direction, to be honest, and I don't think he should go, because that squad isn't built for his type of football.

Manchester United again went all in on a coach, bought a bunch of players that only fit his system, and when a new coach comes in, they have to reset.

That's the importance of having an overall club philosophy and a sporting director like Liverpool does.

I am not sure Manu is built that different for a coach like Xavi. There is a reason Amorim was forced to try 433 later.

They lack proper midfielders, and they knew that already under Amorim, Ten Hag but failed to address it. They will go big for those regardless of whom they hire.

One of Xavi's strength is his recruitment ability, he is a good salesman, if he can get deals done in midfield that is already half the issues solved for him and the entire team.

I don't follow EPL minnows that much but the general consensus that they want E.Anderson who is very highly rated. He will probably add a Spanish midfielder too, maybe Mendoza from Elche?

Add an actual striker to the mix (can he deal with Osimhen madness?) And Manu can immediately be a pretender under him, and well positioned to turn that into contenders.

I honestly fails to see better alternatives for him. City aren't considering him (and immediately replacing a legend rarely works well), Arsenal are married to Arteta, Liverpool are hoping for Alonso or Nagelsmann (or Slot fixing his shit), and Chelsea just hired a new guy and clearly don't rate Xavi.

Same for Bayern, who offered the job to anyone but him in 2024, PSG might be a possibility, but again the bar Lucho set is too high.

And Xavi ks the type of coach who wants the upper hand on the pitch, that won't work well if he goes to the likes of BVB, Tottenham etc.

If he isn't interested in Manu job, then he is either going to Italy, Qatar, NT or waiting for Barca to take him back.
