Game against Eibar. 0-0 until 56th minute, then wondergoal by CGH followed by a hattrick of tap-ins for Esme Brugts in 10 minutes.

Relevo reports that Jonatan Giraldez will leave the club after this season. He has an offer from a club from NWSL.

Another bad news is that Mapi is probably out for the season.

In their statement, Barça confirmed that "the player of the women's first team Mapi León has undergone satisfactory surgery for the rupture of the external meniscus of the right knee. She is out and in the next few days she will begin her rehabilitation process."

Now official Giraldez is leaving.

FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta explained to EFE that the coach of the women's first team, Jonatan Giráldez, has decided not to renew his contract, which was due to expire on June 30, because he has received an offer from the United States "one of those that cannot be refused".

"Jonan (Jonatan Giráldez) is an extraordinary guy. We had already agreed on the renewal, but he has received one of those offers that cannot be refused," he revealed of the 32-year-old coach from Vigo, whom he defined as "an extraordinary guy".

7-0 win against Rosengard last night, scored 13 against them in two games. Already qualified to KO with two group stage games remaining.

Good news: Mapi Leon renewed until 2026.

Not so good news: she underwent surgery few days ago and is out for 3-4 months with a torn meniscus. Hopefully she'll recover well but we're really thin at CB now. Irene Paredes and Jana Fernandez are also out so Ingrid Engen is playing there alongside Martina from Barca B. Probably shouldn't have sold Laia Codina.

Club is also considering winter signings with numerous injuries we're currently dealing with but ofc won't be easy due to current financial situation and also not really easy to find players who could improve current squad. Probably better to give minutes to younger players, we have some good ones coming through Barca Atletic.

Alexia got "the last contract renewal offer" from a new SD Marc Vives. Reportedly close to doubling her current wages and become highest paid player in the squad. But in last meeting on Wednesday Barca also reduced length of contract renewal from 3 to 2 years. Which could make sense as there are still doubts about Alexia's fully recovery. She hasn't played for over a month now. Multiple tests have discarded a serious injury but she's still feeling a pain in her knee and is currently undergoing a conservative treatment and after New Year they'll re-evaluate situation.

Reports we're close to sign Man City's GK Ellie Roebuck in summer when her contract expires. Which probably means Sandra Panos who is also out of contract will leave or otherwise don't know what we'd do with three GKs who all believe they should be starters.

Other player we're negotiating with is Levante's CB Maria Mendez who is also more likely to join on a free in summer than now although we could use some depth at CB with all the injuries.

In other news, earlier this week Washington Spirit from NWSL have officially confirmed previous reports that Jonatan Giraldez will become their coach in July.

Wouldn't be too surprised if some of our players would go with him tbf. If we can't keep them (and seems quite clear that at least few of the players on expiring contracts will leave) it's better going to America than joining teams like PSG or Lyon who we could face in the CL.

What do you think of the new players for the women's FC Barcelona, the English goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck and the Spanish defender Maria Mendez? Who do you think will come out and of the reserve team who you see with the potential to move up?
